Sealing the promise
The sacrament of confirmation seals the baptismal promises made by the parents on behalf the child.
A person being confirmed may adopt the name of a Saint with whom he or she feels a special affinity. Adding the saint's name on the candle keeps a record and completes the confirmation candle.
The symbolism for Confirmation is similar to Baptism, and you may also choose any of the candles listed in this category.

Please be guided by your parish as to their customary use of candles.
We use only quality hand-poured New Zealand or European candles. All sacramental candles are white (any variation shown in the photos is due to lighting conditions in the studio).
